bit of a non-story, agent basicly hints that hearts are a number of clubs interested but have not bid for him nor even had him over training. He will most likely move in January. Also says Heerenveen of holland are interested in him, but I thought he had a spell there but left due to being homesick.

This probably wont happen. Frank Arnesen at Chelsea flew over to Iceland the other week and talked to the boy and his parents. Also rumours that Arsene Wenger is planning to come over and see him in action personally during this international break.

Cheers for that SI.

This is absolutely the way for clubs like us to go IMO. Try to get as many good young players as we can at an age they would be affordable. The only thing I would stress, something that it would seem VR does not agree with, is that CANNOT be done at the expense of the now. Fair enough, if the project is a success, in the future our transfer movements could involve bringing in one or two high standard players annually to supplement our youths. Given we are not at that stage yet, we still need to get some good players in to keep the team going.

We should send Czaba over to describe how he wants sucksiss!

They'd never get playing if he did that!

SI you realise you could've probably sold this story to the EEN ans made a wee bit o cash. You could've probably written the piece for them. Chances are they lifted the story from here based on what you'd said previously anyway...

Cheers for the update by the way. Shame it looks like he's a bit too good for us (or certainly the attention he's attracting is...)

Normally I'd suggest that having Eggy & Harry here already might be enough to put us nearer the top of the pile but if Arsenal and Chelsea are sniffing about...well...

It is good to know that we're at least picking up on these players.
