I priced up a trip to the final, no matter who is playing. Flying from Edinburgh on the sunday to Rome returning thursday evening. shaun.lawson Posted August 28, 2008 Share Posted August 28, 2008 The group stages are now so predictable, and dominated by the same dozen or so clubs every year, that the draw doesn't make that great a difference really. But Chelsea should sail through, and Man Utd and Arsenal's paths look very comfortable too. Not sure about Liverpool though: they always seem to get this kind of even, awkward looking group, but they should be OK - and remember, they've won the tournament when the final was held in Rome twice already. Meanwhile, Celtic could do it again, but I've a hunch their luck will run out this season. As for the rest: Zenit and Fiorentina must be seething! If it worked out like the world cup then you could predict who will be in the semis, but the fact its just about an open draw in the knockout rounds makes it nearly impossible to predict...however that said im going to go for..chelsea,real madrid, man utd, snd i also fancy bayern. chelski to win it this year.
