Gary Glitter

Is it just me or did I hear the Airdrie fans singing a song about him?

Also think I heard a song or two about Justin Fashanu (RIP).

Definitely heard the gary glitter thing - not sure what it was all about.

My favourite 'moronic' chant of the night was the dambusters!

Thought it sounded something like, "Gary Glitter's signed for you".

Did Kingston do something to get booed by them or was my initial assumption right?

Initial assumption was right I would suspect.

I thought their funniest chant was "Oh Airdrie is Wonderful".

They obviously don't get out much.

The Gary Glitter chant was in reference to a group of about 12 lads aged about 12-14 who had gathered in the front row of section F and attempted to start a few songs taunting the Airdrie fans.

The song they sang back was was "Gary Glitter's after you!"

Reminds me of a time at Stark's Park years ago (around Xmas) when a group of kids started singing songs at us Hearts fans to try and wind us up and we chanted back "Santa isn't real.... Santa isn't real".

Was that the one about Kingston? I heard it once at an away game.

Even taking the connotations out of it, it's possibly the worst song I've ever heard at a football match.

It seemed to be popular with the 'first season following hearts without my dad' age group.
