Is Stewart the solution or the problem?

I have watched MS for some time now and do not doubt the effort he puts in.

He is, I think, highly valued by Csaba but the more responsiblity he gets, the more he takes. All free kicks, all penalties (yes I know CL said it was his fault on Saturday), comes back and takes free kicks defenders could take - or are they incompetent? He is in danger of becoming a one man band like little Baz at Ipox.

The fact is that he is rubbish at free kicks, his penalties are a lottery and he expends more energy running around doing things that others can do that I think they just stand back and let him get on with it, feeling they don't matter much. Sooner or later he will burn out during the season.

Am I imagining things?

Cut The Crap

I worry far more about the players in our team who do too little, rather than the ones who try to do too much.

Ray Winstone

Stewart has the ability to 'pull the strings' of the team which means when he is on form the team functions a lot better.

The annoying thing about it is when he has a bad game (like tonight) you wonder where the creativity is going to come from.

Miko looked the most likley source of it tonight but he got hooked.
