Rangers scored 2nd 15 mins from time. David Love scored in the last minute. Hearts missed numerous chances first half. Draw would have been a fair result. Also by manchester guy do you mean David Love? Annoying to lose against rangers but good to hear we played really well. Quite a young U19 team, though there are players who will most likely be too old at the end of the season but some good players coming through. No - manchester guy is Danny who is still on trial with Hearts - don't think he's been offered a contract yet but could be wrong. Davey Love came on as subbed and scored. Also heard that Danny T is facing op and will be out for the rest of season which is a real blow for him and the team. and it was Dylan playing at the back yesterday - not Ryan. Not eligible for the U19 this season - he's 19 already and too old, Shaun Kelly, Ryan McGowan & Harry Bjornsson are also too old for the U19 this year. He was on the bench in the only reserve game thus far - Hearts need to sort out what they are doing regards the reserves - there's a whole group of kids who are below first team level but above the youth team ranks that need more games, there is however also the first team subs & squad players that haven't been getting starts in the first team to cater for. With regards to all the youth players who were out on loan last year but were deemed not good enough by both frail and j murray why are they back at hearts. Surely these guys are just blocking the way for the most promising younger players. Time to get rid of them if they haven't got the quality required. An update on the op for the thomson boy I think he has injured the cruciate and medial ligaments in his knee this was passed on by an older youth player so it might not be accurate Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
