david mcgee
All this wet weather has resulted in loads of mushrooms growing in my garden. The wife has made a stew for tea tonight and i was wondering if it was safe to add the mushrooms, could make it taste magic?

leginten
You need to know what you're doing - it's a dangerous old business. Personally I spent much of last week feasting on fresh chanterelles from the Rothiemurchus Forest, but only after excluding any possible confusion with poisonous lookalikes.
