cosanostra
Interesting game. Arsenal's new 12m signing Nasri starting but no Toure, Van Persie or Fabregas. May be closer than expected. I'm going for 1-0 Arsenal. Also, West Brom have no sponsors on their shirt for some reason.

Gigolo-Aunt
Also, West Brom have no sponsors on their shirt for some reason. That is strange. No doubt a kickbacker will come up with why that is. Is Bednar playing?

Bednar, Beattie and Dorrans, all on the bench. Three Scotish strikers. Wish we would sign Beattie.

They've not agreed a sponsor yet - they are in talks with a few firms and have told fans that once it has been agreed they can take there top into the shop and get it printed on! no bednar. Surprised Beattie is still there, mate. He would do a job for the JT's, no doubt about that. Mind you, he does have chocolate hamstrings.

cosanostra
...which was Mogga's favourite tactic at Hibs, regardless of the hype. It sure was. Boot it up front to O'Connor or hit it into the corners and try and Forrest Gump Sproule will chase after it. Flair is one of the biggest myths on the planet. Finished 1-0, not the best game. West Brom not too bad over the 90 minutes. Quite impressed with Nasri, reminded me of Fabregas.

Paul_C
Arsenal persist on trying to walk the ball into the net, that will be their undoing this season.
Deodato
I was at the game. If it cheers folks up, I got the mighty Gooners in Section H singing the Monkey Heid song - it caught on nicely. Also, strange to see a former Hibs manager and Hearts striker on the first game of the season, Beattie too. It might be my vantage point, but Clichy was simply awesome - he makes no mistakes and covers so much ground. Best player in the EPL - truss me. Pretty poor show though, someone earlier said they tried to walk the ball into the net - exactly. There's a worry this season - if there's no trophies, the real stars (Cesc, esp) will probably walk. Looking at Man Utd and Chelsea, not sure if Arsenal are really aiming high enough. Still, Tony looked might stunned to see Monkey raise its ugly heid again.
