cosanostra
Whilst hoping that Velicka will have the same finishing power against us that he had for us v the Huns in the league cup at Hampden last season, I began thinking about former Hearts players that have scored against us for other teams. Davie McPherson scored against us for the Huns (I think i can remember him scoring against us in a cup game ).. Stephen Simmons for Dunfermline. Sandy Clark for the Huns. Jim Hamilton scored against us for Dunfermline. Pressley for Sellik. Gordon Durie for the Huns. Scott Leitch for Motherwell. Gary Wales for Killie. Gary McSwegan for Killie. David Hagen for the Huns. Dennis Wyness for ICT. Who else?

Hearts Heritage
Tell us more. Why was he the most infamous? Some blame him for missing a chance to score in the league decider against Killie in 1965, He however scored twice in this game including getting the final goal. rudi
If we are talking about player who have scored against Hearts before they signed for us as well as after then add Darren Jackson,Alex McDonald,Jim Bett,Willie Johnston to name but a few. Don't know if Seve ever has, rattled in a couple for the sheep against Hibs. Pretty sure Alan Lawrence scored when Stenhousemuir were 0-2 by half time at Tynie in the Scottish Cup a few years ago. Dr Ian Malcolm
Definatley for Motherwell at Fir Park, remember him celebrating like he'd just been paid two weeks giro by mistake. Busby8
Davy Hagan shouldn't really count either,..........not being a former player when he scored. ...........and without consulting the record books, I'll have a go at these.. Did Ruby Murray of all people not come back to score against us for Morton ? How about Hearty Harry Kinnear scoring at Tynie for East Fife in a 2-2 draw ! Tommy Traynor and George Fleming,...........both for Dundee Utd ?? Willie Wallace for Smellick. Kenny Black for Airdrie in the Semi replay. damt
Bannon also scored at Tannadice near Christmas time in 1986. Same game as Iain Ferguson leathered it over Henry from about 40 yards. Scott Crabbe also scored for United against us at Tannadice not long after he left us.

Mr X
Donald Park in the last minute for Partick in a 1-0 defeat at Tynie 82/83 season. I took that one personally. Maurice Johnston scored against us when he'd gone to Falkirk. That I found particularly annoying as he scored for us about twice in twenty-odd games. Sure we lost the game as well. tartofmidlothian
I thought about McCann but I couldn't remember him scoring against us. What was the game? Seem to remember he got just the one, late in his career for them. Late enough that I didn't feel betrayed anyway! Would have blubbed in my Bovril if it was one of his first 2 or 3 games.
