Is this not a late tackle?

General reflection on the rules here. I've often wondered before about this situation (when a player scores but gets lamped in the process), but since it came up again on Saturday, I thought I'd mention it.

Audry's goal on Saturday - did the keeper not make a late challenge on him? Should this not be classed as a foul and a red card?

This has crossed my mind before how goalies seem to play under different rules on occasions. They should probably get a yellow on occasions for a late tackle, the same fate often suffered by outfield players,

In this situation, it just almost seems that the events are ignored seeing as the goal has counted. I can't think of an explanation for this.

Anywhere else on the pitch and it would be a case of playing advantage if possible, then referee pulling up the offending player when play stops.

i would say its yellow. Its not a red as it didnt deny a clear goal scoring opportunity, nor was it particularly violent.

True enough, I guess if the goal counts then its not red. It should certainly be recognised as a foul though.

Text should stay where it was meant to be used. When a querty keyboard is in use, proper english ( small e ) should be the rule. Spelling is another issue and mistake are made, but there is no excuse for using text speak here.

Text speak can be useful when discussing the Hibees without incurring the profanity checker. For example -
