Obviously you still get a hangover with it as all excessive alcohol gives you a hangover however I find my hangovers are not as catatonic as drinking lager or ale anyone else find there hangovers are not as bad? It can also be classed as your one in five a day lol
i8hibsh
Lager tops, clearly. lol I have to say while we are on the subject, I actually ordered a lager and lime recently mainly as British lager is so foul it takes the taste away - but it is actually pretty decent
comradejambo
Have to say that I am not against having afew Magners on a warm Saturday afternoon! Bordeaux 03
Cider has certainly become more popular in the past few years thus lager/beer has taken a hit. Beer sales lowest since 1930's Plus a lot of women are drinking it as well so they are not restricted to wine or spirits.

I heard somewhere that hangovers are caused by your liver being short of water so it takes water from your brain, therefore resulting in a sore head the next day. The moral of the story is drink water when ur on the peeve.

The Gasman
It's a popular misconseption that drinking too much gives you a hangover, but that's a load of male cow excrement ! You only get hangovers when you STOP drinking. There's alesson there for us all !! PS: My prefered tipple is one or two glasses of Mr Strongbow's finest fizzy apple pop, and it's never done me any harm !

Goose Baxter
Got to say that ' Scrumpy Jack ' Has got to be the worst cider out there. It can also be classed as your one in five a day lol One of the worst hangovers I've ever had, sheerly for the taste in my mouth, was after a heavy night on Strongbow. Truly vile stuff; giving me the boak just thinking about it. Something about cider hangovers. They always make me feel more sick than a vodka/lager one. After booting the arse out of cider in the past few years I've given it a very wide berth.

wilson_hmfc
Never used to be a fan of cider but really like it now. Magners and Strongbow always go down nicely. However, any sort of Kopperburg is simply superb really is a sublime drink. Better than lager etc by a long distance. In my opinion ofcourse. Don't seem to get hangovers with Kopperburg that is just an added bonus!!
Louise
Strongbow FTW I'll make a small confession which I'll no doubt live to regret but I have been known in recent weeks to purchase a couple of litres of *ahem* white star. I know that saying I'm absolutely skint after car's MOT etc is a really pish excuse, I apologise to everyone involved! *shame*

The Doctor
Cheap white cider is truly the most vile concoction ever produced. I know jakeys that won't touch it, one once referred to it disparagingly, "it's never seen an aipple". Seriously, I know a lot of jakeys. They never drink 80 bob (or guinness). I like a pint of 80. English Bulmers (Original) is made by Bulmers surprisingly enough, the Hereford based company behind Strongbow, before Scottish Brewers bought it over. Irish Bulmers ain't available in the UK. Magners however is. Confused. You should be!!
