I refuse to believe that Obua turned down West Ham for us.

If he was offered a contract from West Ham he would not be at Hearts.

Interestingly, on the same site.....

Wonder how long it'll take him to break a nail and take 6 months off if this happens.

Imagine Pingu in London. :dribble: He'd be like a kid in a candy store.

Think he is just trying to endear himself to the hearts fans mate. We will find out soon enough if he was good enough for west ham. ;)

I thought that players who followed a manager was a bad thing :o

Oh no, of course it isnt.

Whatever the case I do think Csaba was significant in all of this

Even if he had chosen Hearts over West ham it would have only been because he wasn't confident of getting a place at West Ham.

No chance.

But we play at a much lower level so players not good enough for them could be more than good enough for us.

That would suggest you think he doesn't already have one.

Correct.

Its a safer option I think, than trying to force your way straight into the team at West Ham. Also, he will no doubt be easier to adjust to Scottish football first, than the EPL. The pace is similar here, but the quality is lower.

The thread title suggested there was a belief that Obua actually turned down West Ham for us. I was just pointing out this was not the case...

And i'm a student, i don't need to bend the truth at work:p

You need to learn how to do it or you'll always be a student (or a teacher)

Surely that never happens. I mean all those foreigners the OF buy really have supported Rangers or Celtic (ALWAYS the right one) since childhood. Surely?
