200milesfromgorgie
On the Road - Jack Kerouac. Book that i found mind blowing as did mamy others. For all those who have read/enjoyed it. It is due to be made into a movie next year with that guy from Brazil who made The Motor Cycle Diaries. As excited as i am that another great book may get destroyed by a movie i need to ask HOW?!?!?! This book is so detialed and indepth i can not be easy to translate to film surely? anybody have any thought? anybody care?
marshallschunkychicken
Can't even begin to understand how it would translate to film.
pablo
Is there not already a film version? There is a film about Kerouac writing it. It's rubbish and a little bit fruity if I remember correctly.
Sparky
As you say, it will be difficult to fit a decent amount from the book into the film. It runs the risk of becoming A.N.Other road-movie.
