Taffin
Hey. Me and the gf are looking to go out tonight for a couple of drinks and play some pool. We don't want to end up at somewhere like the New Yorker, more the kind of where its like 2 quid per game of something. This is because she will likely get bored and we will only end up playing 2-3 games anyway. Despite the seemingly easy task, I can't think of anywhere to go. Any suggestions greatly appreciated? Cheers

Cheers Diane's. Cheap booze, cheap pool, dunno the missus will like it though if she's a bit classy. More a spit and sawdust kinda place. I'd take her to the room upstairs rather than stay downstairs with all the jakeballs.

chester copperpot
Cheers guys.....Andy, sounds like she'd fit right in. Its ok upstairs pal. Used to take the missus there a few times when we lived in Carricknowe and fancied something other than the pictures. Very much an aquired taste though, but if you can get past that, and the **** tasting beer, then the cheapness shines through.

You get drunk on the cheap and nasty lager, beat her 7-0 at pool, ridicule her, fall out with her, argue all the way back to hers, then pump her furiously. You will thank me for this tomorrow.
