Online bookies. Who's the best?

Although I have a strange loyalty to ladbrokes on the high street, I'm looking to open an online account. Who is the best for football? Obviously I'm interested in the odds first and foremost but an easy to use site is pretty important.

Betfair have the best odd's but I tend to find that their site is hard to use sometimes.

I'm a Coral man. Site is nicely laid out and easy to use.

For Casino (if you like it) use Betfred.

I love Betfair but I use it for Tennis betting. Their footy betting is ok but you cant do big accumulators. You can bet on anything else though.

Probably follow the advice by using oddschecker then logging in on whatever site when you see the odds that you want.

Depends on what your after. If its single bets (eg winner of a game, scoreline etc) use Betfair. Usually the best odds and better variety. Site is wee bit tricky to understand but once you get used to it, its fine. You also have the option of betting against certain outcomes as well.

If its multiple accys such as the weeks fixtures, I stick with Ladbrokes. Multiples can be used on Betfair, but its usually what they decide to set and not what you want (if that makes sense!) ie you cant pick and choose, Betfair gives you a set list.

Funny you should say that mate. I have Ladbrokes, Hills, Coral, Paddy Power, Stan James and Blue Square, yet I find Corals to be one of the more awkward to use/find bets.

Ladbrokes and Paddy Power are the most user friendly IMO.

Betfair for single bets by a country mile.

Paddy Power for everything else, although I do not like it as much since their last upgrade.

Although you could register to take the free bets on each site and then decide on which one is for you.

http://http://www.freebets.co.uk/ is agood site top keep check of incentives. I use this alongside oddschecker.

Looks handy, so many of them offering free bets of around ?25.

Sign up with a couple of them, get ?25 on each outcome of an evenly balanced two-outcome event, say 5/6 each outcome, get about ?46 back - could free money be that easy or am I missing something?!

It can work...just have to find something with 2 possible outcomes (no tie/draw) that are relatively even

Tends to be the case with most "two-outcome events", to quote my good self!;)

There are loads of them doing these types of offers, even if one you sign up with want, say, a ?10 deposit first.

I may well be getting busy with the debit card soon!

I have numerous online accounts and through oddschecker just use what ever site is giving me the best odds on a bet or bets that i fancy.

Overall if i had to recommend one though it would be bet365.

They usually offer competitive odds and arent shy when it comes to giving you a free 5er bet every now and then.

I have two. One with Ladbrokes and one with Coral. I find Ladvrokes so much easier to use and navigate through.

I was going to open up a Betfair one but I don't understand would they mean by laying a bet. I have been betting football for about 4/5 years maybe more and still don't get it.

Just means that you're offering a price to another betfair user, and taking their bet - like you being the 'bookie', if you like.

The Future's Maroon

Ahh, betting!

I use Betfair most of the time, use Ladbrokes, Coral and Willie Hill also (depends which a/c has what in it at time of bet)!

Always stuck with Ladbrokes from online poker although I have recently joined that PKR - I find with all the silly animation mince you get some players pay more attention to their character that they do their cards?!

For poker i'd say Mansion. Ladbrokes and the other big sites have too many good players. Mansion also have one of the biggest welcome bonuses.
