ericb
It seems we are still after at least a striker and a goalie, but, given that last year we had a striker who'd never played in the team before parachuted in to play in the first game. Is it fair that even if we sign quality, that they play on Saturday, ahead of those who've put all the pre-season in?
The Wicker Man
I would say it depends on the players - if we get them. An experienced match fit striker would walk into the team - we have until the end of August to get players in, so hopefully there will be no knee jerk panic buys to appease some of the impatient fans. vegas-voss
We don't need a keeper Banks is good enough for the SPL with MacDonald as back up.Im pretty sure Tulberg will sign so another striker will do for now.
Isaac Begbie
We don't need a keeper Banks is good enough for the SPL Absolutely. He proved it again yesterday with a couple of great stops and an all round competent display. One of the best keepers in the SPL outwith the Old Firm. Lets concentrate on getting a penalty box striker in.
