Apparently been sacked by Rangers. Seems there could be a split in the Castle Greyskull boardroom.

What with Hibs turmoil and now this maybe for the first time in 3 years we won't be the crisis club.

I'll get in first and say Greyskull was where the good guys were and where He-man got his power.

sorry for the pedantry.

Aberdeen are having stadium issues. Hopefuly this'll gather pace in the next few weeks.

Surely only a matter of days before the Sheet hits the fan at Darkheid.

If they have sacked him lets get him on board at Tynie in some capacity.

The man is a winner and used to be a Hearts fan.

I wonder, if it's true that is, whether he'll go back to summarising on the radio, as he did before he went back to sup from the poisoned chalice.

I seem to recall that his comments were fair, pithy and a good foil for Mr Crampsey RIP

B.Crampsie: "what kind of injury do you think he's being treated for?

J.Greig: "a sore one!"

B.Crampsie: "what did you think of the referee's performance tonight?"

J.Greig: "I thought the Ref was an absolute Balloon! Rangers should complain to UEFA."

According to FF, he's not been sacked he's just been told his services at Murray Park are no longer required. It doesn't affect his role out with Murray Park it seems

From FF:

"Something is being lost in translation here guys and gals, nobody is saying Grieg is barred from Murray park, he was told his services are no longer required, so if he wants to go and watch games there is nothing to stop him"

Ah ... brings to mind the classic :

Quizmaster on Quizball : "What is Vesuvius?"

Buzz.

Rangers.

Greig.

John Greig : "an ice-cream?"

Well he has had a "job" with them for years since despite his disasterous spell as manager, some would say Rangers' worst ever spell was under Greig, so they did OK by him I think.

Greig was just another of these sad old guys that hang around clubs showing visiting VIPs where the lavvies are. Or picking up folk from the airport.
