Paul_C
Had it on a couple of PC's with our home-based users. Managed to get rid of it using AVG 8.0, the free version does the trick.

cotter
I got it on my PC, the only way I managed to get rid of it was reformatting the hard drive and starting from scratch all over with the recovery disc. Only had AVG 7 at the time I got the virus, upgraded to 8 when had the virus but it didnt work.

basher the jambo
http://www.moosoft.com/ Is a free 30 day trial to remove trojans. I used it acouple of years ago and it worked well
JAYEL
Try using free PC Tools anti virus. http://www.pctools.com/free-antivirus/ It seems to work better at picking up and getting rid of virus, trojans and worms. Make sure your scan settings are not set to delete during scan bcause you could end up losing files if infected files are found and deleted. Rodge
Do a search for a file called "Combofix": http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix Download and install Malwarebytes Anti Malware from here: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php You might also need to repair the Winsock entries to get back onto the Internet, not always necessary though http://www.snapfiles.com/get/winsockxpfix.html Finish up by installing an antivirus program, AVG 8 is OK You will get rid of it this way, it's a tricky one to remove though!
