davemclaren
Great night and with lots of JKBers there. It was only late on that I suddenly realised that the author's father in law used to be my boss when I worked at RBS in Dalkeith 30 years ago. Who says it isn't a small world!?! My daughter took ill this morning, hence why I couldn't go. Hope all had a great night, pretty gutted that I missed this as was really looking forward to meeting my idol Buffalo Bill. Sent him a big apology this afternoon, but have still managed to get another KB'er to blag me his autograph on one of his books.

I was pretty 'Goosed' though so could be wrong. Ach all these underagers are giving themselves bad names by drinking alcopops and the such. Why in my day Strongbow and Magners from the can (that's right, THE CAN) were the drinks of choice. We were real 'men'. We certainly did and you certainly were! I believe Borthers introduced us on the way to the stadium.
Buffalo Bill
Thanks to everyone for coming along and making it a very enjoyable evening. Thanks to Borthers and Gig who were pimping for me too. I have a rather nasty hangover, but I was delighted to be told today that my humble publication will be top of the charts as the number one selling book in two branches of Edinburgh Waterstones next week. Surreal couple of days, but fun. Thanks again, ...and Baz, Stevie Wonder wants his cardie back. Buffalo Bill .
