Craigieboy
Anybody recommend a camp site? Preferably close to a nice wee town with plenty of pubs and/or a distillery Any suggestions or favourite places to go? Faskally. About a mile north of Pilochry. Advisable to pre-book though. Great camp site with pub & pool. Pitlochry has some decent pubs & places to eat. The chippy at Blair Atholl is immense. http://www.faskally.com/ Only draw back is having to put up with all the tories up there. .
Isaac Begbie
The one further up the road in Blair Atholl is good too, not as many pubs there though.

Jack Torrance
Seriously though. North Ledaig. On a bay. 6 miles from Oban (Distillery): Go to: http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/Planning+your+trip/UK+Trips/Site+Search+and+Book/Club+Sites/Site+Detail.htm?csid=NORTH+LEDAIG If you just have a tent there's plenty sites near this one in Benderloch. That sounds pretty camp too...
