shaun.lawson
LOL! Maybe that just makes him a student at heart: I've lost count of how many students I know who never seem to bother buying a licence. I do, of course, but that probably makes me a mug more than anything else. And the rules, whereby if you live in an individual room in a hall of residence, you have to buy one - but if you live in a shared house, only one licence is necessary for everyone there, are a complete nonsense anyway. jambojim52
If they can see 29 million addresses at the touch of a button. Why do they need detector vans?? This reminds me of the story about the tic fans complaining about lost TV reception due to the new stand. They were told they would get compensation and were happy as larry, until they were asked to produce their TV licence before they were given the cash.:):):)
Paolo
http://www.eadt.co.uk/content/eadt/news/story.aspx?brand=EADOnline&category=News&tBrand=EADOnline&tCategory=news&itemid=IPED22%20Jul%202008%2011%3A07%3A05%3A390 :) Maybe he thought because he stole the television, the licence bought by the original owner of the TV would still be valid.
