Alan_R
My mate is trying to get his PC turned on. When he turns it on he gets as far as the Windows XP screen then it crashes/restarts. What could be wrong? How can it be fixed? He has tried starting it in safe mode already and doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated.

speedbump
Is it serious? How did you fix it? I took it to One36 computing in Morningside and the gent fixed it for a small fee. If yer mate has his original copy of Windows, he could try rebooting from disc in the bios settings. Well that's what I got charged ?45 for.
