Sky friends and family codes

Not posted here for ages.l, but quite a while ago I remember folk posted looking for the above and got discount codes from people in the know, to get discount on sky deals.

I'm moving into a new house in a few weeks and will be taking out a sky TV package as a new customer.

Can anyone give me a code (if they even still exist)

Cheers

Not seen as much of this lately. Sky have made a significant loss in the last year chasing Football rights and homegrown productions so need to chase custom. Hoping to see they shift to discount to get customers in the door.

Any new Sky offer though would likely be on their stream product.

Alternatively - consider EE TV.

It can be taken on a month to month basis for the various components (Entertainment/Cinema/Sport etc).

Go for a streaming option if you don't mind being 2 minutes behin actual live TV.

Cheers for the reply.

That makes sense - I dont see many offers for new customers online actually.

I'll have a look at EE

EE TV has less channels (let’s face it - most of the Sky tv guide is riddled with garbage)  but all of the premium channels are available and recordable.

The 2nd thing that is good is that it’s Glass2Glass time (ie. From the point the camera sees the action to when you see on your tv) is rapid - you don’t get that streaming delay or have your phone notifications update you 2mins before you see it.

The other positive outside of the flex package offering is that Multiroom is free.

Or if you don't mind losing TV when the internet goes down. I don't watch TV a lot but when I do I find myself frustrated with the puck, the UI is terrible and overly complicated. Despite that, the internet service hasn't gone down very often, so overall pretty happy with Sky. I would not recommend the puck either. My neighbour on proper telly has ruined a couple Scotland games for me.

Losses were mostly caused by loans to Sky Italy and Germany (which i'd have thought would have been sold off by now), customer numbers and revenue are more or less stable but F&F deals are rarely impacted, normally it's general new customer offers that come and go.

@Dean Winchester should have some codes on the go (I don't as I left Sky about 18 months ago)

Hello, what’s everyone opinion on Sky Stream for those that have used it?

It's been pretty decent. One thing to note though is that live sport is around 30secs behind.
