The fans 100% need to get behind the team & try to lift them but they won't.

The Ultras try but the noise doesn't catch on. The opposition sussed out ages ago that if you frustrate Hearts the home crowd will turn on their own players, the nervousness will seep onto the pitch & the players go into their shells, we fall into that trap every ****ing time.

The chat is always "hard work & desire will get the fans behind you" - it's a total myth, Devlin & Forrest work hard & show desire but regularly get slated & booed by the fans in attendance & online. "The team needs to earn the support with their performances" - myth, even when we're winning & playing well the place goes silent. Tynie is a stadium that could be an absolute bearpit, the fans being that close to you can create a seriously intense atmosphere which can throw the opposition right off their game but it rarely happens.

Tough times never last, tough people do.

Stick in fellow Jambos and trust the process with the club and Tony Bloom.

Thought we played really well last night up until Killie equalised.

Quick sharp accurate passing.

Players all playing with a purpose and game plan.

Such an improvement from under Naismith.

Let down by stupid mistakes but it's looking promising for the future and for Critchley to weed out the too many passengers and bring his own players in.

Got to love this debate.

Bottom of the league despite our financial strength and it's down to the fans! Best thread yet for the better fan than you posters.

Yes the place went quiet after Killie took the lead. The fear does that as does watching the pedestrian play. I assume some of these mega fans were still singing their heads off?

Yet as soon as we lose a goal we absolutely crumble and go down with a whimper. There is something deeply wrong with the mentality in the squad and there are clearly fitness issues which are a disgrace for a top tier team.

Some of our supporters can’t wait to patronise their fellow supporters with this guff!

Creating chances, attacking the opposition box, flying into fifty fifty challenges, that's what gets the fans behind the players.

We're seeing none of that just now

Spot on.

They’re playing in front of a packed Tynecastle, and we’re selling out away allocations as well.

The support are showing up, the players are not.

The fans do support the team.   Some of the online rubbish is over the top and says more about the posters.  100% every fan has the same frustrations after a night like Wednesday and with our league position but clamouring to empty the club of all and sundry is not and never will be a solution.   Our main striker can't hit a barn door right now.  That's huge and, while the rest of the team is not perfect, we would not be in this position if we were taking chances when we are on top in games.  If VAR awards the pen and we go 2-0 it's a whole different outlook.
