Unlike you I'm home and away everyweek and have been since early 70's but the difference with me and you is I'm balanced in that I give credit when it's due imo but I'm not blind and give criticism when it's due imo

Not at the AGM's but surely you don't believe the 7000 season ticket waiting list. The list that they had 7 days to show some sort of proof it existed but the lady who was asked by Budge about it when answering my e-mail, stated she didn't exactly have it with her. Ann Budge does get a lot in unjust criticism, and there are fans who are clearly a bit ungrateful. I think she has probably done more for the club that we as fans are fully aware of

 

however she should not be immune to criticism. A lot of genuine fans are concerned about genuine issues. There has been a few dubious appointments in her time, ie her brother who had a very small business getting the main stand contract, then subsequently getting the hotel contract. If he really was the best man for the job fair enough. Cathro/levein/Stendal situation was farcical and contributed massively to

our relegation/demotion.

 

there are however posters who will do anything within their power to excuse her of any blame whatsoever, these folk are just as bad if not worse than the ungrateful folk who can’t praise her for the good she has done.

 

the bottom line is, we are joint bottom of the league with more than a third of the season gone with relegation a real possibility. A second relegation in 5 years. Yes folk say we used to regularly get relegated in the past, but that doesn’t make it right. We should be nowhere near the relegation zone with the amount of money being put into to club. Since admin the club has been consistently backed by fans and benefactors to levels like nothing we have had In our history. 
 

Qualifying for Europe 3 seasons in a row counts for nothing if on season 4 Europe is being replaced by relegation. Nobody would be happy with that being a regular thing.

I can believe that 7,000 expressed an interest.  I imagine the proportion of any season ticket list that would actually take them up is relatively low for various reasons.

The lady could have shown the list from the floor to everyone, but couldn't because she didn't have it with her. Where you there at the AGM, if so you saw what we all saw, avoidance. In my debate with DM he puts forward the argument there may have been 7000 enquiries, if so that's far removed from there being a waiting list.
