To be honest I cannot even think of one hermaphrodite singer, never mind pick a favourite? 🤷

I don't have favourites of either.

There are plenty of both female and male singers I enjoy listening to.

Male - take a guess!

Ella - with a reservation about her scat singing tendency

I really have to be in a camp mood to Shirley !! She’s brassy !! However her entrance at Glastonbury was legendary !!

I'd struggle to give a decisive answer as I listen to a number of genres.

A couple that are right up there for me:

Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees, Queens of The Stone Age, Solo + Collaborations - Soulsavers, Isobel Campbell + many more)

Liz Fraser (Cocteau Twins, This Mortal Coil, Massive Attack, Sun's Signature)

Both good shouts.  Saw the latter on the Bad Animals tour at the Playhouse.

The Wilson sisters have collaborated with Alice In Chains on the song Brother, plus played live with them/Jerry Cantrell.

I was there too. They’re back in Scotland in July for what will surely be the last time.

They’ve collaborated with a good few bands and artists over the years but that’s the Seattle connection right there with AIC.

I enjoyed that track thank you.

Saw PR with Bad Co at the Odeon and they were awesome. Great venue in its day too.

Some Heart collaborations/favourites

Male - Freddie Mercury is the only correct answer.

Female - I'll go with Annie Lennox with an honourable mention to Miley Cyrus, have a look at her acoustic stuff on YouTube before ripping the pish!

I am tempted but have a number of gigs booked around then.

I have a number of PR albums from Free through to Queen.  Haven't seen him live, though.

I've got a number of Heart Led Zep covers.

They also went by the  pseudonym "The Lovemongers".  They covered The Battle Of Evermore on the Singles soundtrack.

The new owners are looking to open it as a Cinema downstairs and nightclub upstairs.

Be nice if they did gigs upstairs.  I never saw any gigs there.

They sure did. I’ve got that album too. Looks like they’re covering Going To California and The Ocean this time round.

I couldn't nominate a single voice, because that'd mean leaving others out.  But if you like Enya it might be worth your while looking up Moya Brennan / Máire Ní Bhraonáin.  She's Enya's sister, and IMHO is a better singer.
