FIGJAM
Luke Rathie, Callum Sandilands, Liam McFarlane or Adam Forrester for B Team player of the season. Kirk would have walked it but went on loan. Can't be anyone else. Thoughts?

Not sure if there is only one (sportswriters) award for managers or if there is also something more official from the league / clubs? ? Was replying to a post about bookmaker's odds. OTT
Manager of the year, I'd give to either Naismith or McInnes. Think Killie are traditionally a bottom 6 team. He's got them punching well above their weight Docherty at Dundee also doing a grand job. POTY has to be Shanks. Armstrong has had a terrific season too, but Shanks just brings an ability to win games out of nothing. Butland I don't buy the argument for. He's got 10 players in front of him that should make his job a cake walk - and they do. Throwing in some Hollywood saves when the odd shot trickles through isn't enough IMO. And, that’s not a fair way to base your posting. Tosh is correct, McInnes has done wonderfully well this season, against all the odds. Give them both credit! No idea what this Tosh business is 😆 I just don’t think a manager who has a team sitting in 4th, despite what the previous season brought, should be lauded as much. but I can see the points in how he’d be worth a shout. John Findlay
There are two player of the year awards. The SPFA award, which is voted for by the players, as it's their union. Then there is the Scottish football writers player of the year/season award. Which is voted by football journalists. I humbly suggest that both awards will be won by a player from one of the two teams from Glasgow who play in the top division.

I don’t think I’d joined the forum by then, pretty sure he was down as “Somebody’s hairstyle” (cannot for the life of me remember who it was, Jimmy someone maybe?) after which he was Smiths Right Boot I believe
