Jim_Duncan
Our shared door lock is broken. There’s also a buzzer entry system which plays up now and again. One of our neighbours got someone to ‘fix’ it last year but it’s back to being knackered. Can anyone recommend a locksmith that would be able to sort it properly? PaddysBar
I used to live in the red sandstone tenements at Piershill. Great flats, high ceilings, cornices, central rose etc. We absolutely loved it. All flats owner occupied initially then folk started to move away / die off and rent out. It became a stair full of folk who didn’t give a shit and made loads of noise. Sad to see. Wasnt that quote about using buses? If so, it still rings true. Ahh she was "reputed" to have said it about buses... fair point though. https://www.economist.com/britain/2006/09/28/the-wheels-on-the-bus Edited March 2 by been here before
