Daktari
Sad to see. Seemed like a decent bloke (as does his co-host).
superjack
Really sad. The hairy bikers have been my favourite presenters for a while now, I always go out of my way to watch them.
PortyJambo
Have enjoyed their shows for a while now. It's clear they genuinely were good mates, and their shows were fun to watch. I've cooked a few of their recipes too, and they were pretty good and, unlike some cooking programmes, pretty straightforward and just good food. Sad to hear he's died, especially when their last show is on right now, about him getting back on the road with his best mate after his cancer treatments. Fitzroy Pointon
Ah that's sad news. As mentioned above, he seemed like a genuinely nice guy. I remember an episode where his mate arranged for his wife to surprise him by meeting them in the street where they were filming. He was genuinely taken aback and so happy to see her. He seemed a decent good guy . There shows were usualy a good easy bit of escapisim telly . RIP

PaddysBar
I’m probably a bit weird in that I like watching cooking programmes and cooking itself but I’m not really that bothered about eating the end result. Loved watching the Hairy Bikers though. Genuine guys and genuinely funny. RIP Dave. Legend.
