jock _turd
This is taken from the BBC match report "Stuart Kettlewell may be frustrated by the refereeing but ultimately it was a lack of firepower which did for his team." Can anybody explain that statement? Edited February 17 by jock _turd

Can anybody explain that statement? It means he was annoyed the second goal wasn't ruled out for a foul, but it doesn't matter because they didn't score anyway. ShedBoy
Magnificent punditry. Big bad Hearts are getting too close to our darlings. Go on Hearts. Get them rinsed.
Russ1977
They huffed and puffed all day and didn’t create one clear cut chance. If the Vargas goal is ruled out they still lose

Ah, I get it, allowing that second goal in stoppage time completely turned the game. I remember thinking at the time, thank feck that goal stood, or we could have been facing a very daunting last 2 minutes desperately trying to cling on to our slender lead under a barrage of Motherwell attacks. mark2000
And as clearly shown on BBC Sportscene - not even close to a foul - think the initial report was more than a tad tainted!!!

Wanting to fight with people and eventually someone must have pulled him back. McAvoy also got booked.
