Last time I went to the cinema, I got a massive tub of sweet and salted, but the daft *******s had done sweet on the bottom half, and salted on the top half. The point is it's supposed to be mixed. Der Kaiser Posted February 4 Share Posted February 4 Salted. Its normally popped at the cinema whereas the sweet arrives in large bags and sits in stock rooms for days. Old UCI days the melted butter on salted was great.....although it was actually just the butter fat. The butter milk made the popcorn shrivel so that was skimmed off and thrown away. Once worked in a cinema and served American tourists who were extremely disappointed at the fact we don't offer melted butter over popcorn and also that our largest size was still not that big for their standards. Costco here does a Chicago mix if caramel and cheese popcorn that's delicious. Also get apple & cinnamon popcorn here that's nice too.
