Looking for advice please. The missus and I are staying at the Holiday Inn at the airport but don't fancy eating there due to past experiences.

Can anyone recommend somewhere nice to eat within a short drive away please?

The obvious choices are Miiler and Carter at Cramond or the Bridge Inn Ratho.

Thanks in advance.

There’s a place called Patina at Edinburgh Park although I’ve never been myself.

Loads of places at Corstorphine which isn’t really any further than Miller and Carter

Stay at the Doubletree or the Hampton next time, food is decent. The Moxy is not great.

Good shout. Scott's would be my choice.

Scott's or the Thirty Knots on Edinburgh Road are owned by the same company and both decent. Orocco Pier a bit hit and miss these days, Hawes Inn probably best avoided.

Another for Scott's.

30 Knots is worth a visit too.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations.

I hadn't though of Scott's in South Queensferry.  No doubt the missus will choose somewhere.

Maybe it's the risk of bumping into you which makes it a place to avoid.

Risk is minimal as I've only been the once, if you wish to avoid me then the likes of Dickens, Bensons, the Tynie Arms and the fans bar are the places to give a wide berth

Not me, Ribble! I was merely speculating.

Good to hear. Last time I was in the food was clearly staight out of the freezer and into the microwave. That was a couple of years back, to be fair.
