The last week or so I've not enjoyed my food before that I had a long lasting low hanging cloud of uuughhh. And before that a chest nose and body flu cold racking cough thing. My two laddies have had the same, so don't know if it's been one long ******* of a cold, or loads of different ones on top of each other. Young kids are ****ing disease vectors, man. Arseholes. Debut 4 Posted December 24, 2023 Share Posted December 24, 2023 It is weird these days. Went to the docs 2 years ago then to hospital for tests about having weak feeling legs. Still could play football, never really fatigued or anything but periodically would feel “chesty” aswell. Truly bizarre. Seems to come in waves. This week, had a fuzzy head, body feels agitated but sleep ok and still play my 5s on a Thursday night 😂 I was diagnosed with high blood pressure back in Feb and have been on tabs since. Due to a medical condition I have emergency anti-biotics which I have been taking which are not doing the business. Pre-covid I could call and arrange an appointment with GPs no problem, now its a hour hanging on the phone if lucky to get a appointment on same day. They don't take advance bookings. I put it down to just feeling poorly and failed to be seen by medical staff for a good couple of days before my partner practically dragged me to the hospital. Thankfully she did as the doctor claimed I was hours away from being blue lighted up there and being in a seriously bad way. There was also a few stories I recall in the news round that time of generally healthy men not a lot older than me dying from it. Scary stuff, but thankfully after a few days of anti-biotics, I felt much better and back to my usual self. That said, since then, I've just not always felt entirely right. It comes and go's, but never far away. Just a feeling of exhaustion and fatigue I guess. Not much I can do as got a job and kids so no real rest for the wicked as they say, but probably a never ending cycle of just feeling shattered.
