Simple answer is stop contributing if you're not happy. Nobody makes you put money in, if in fact you do so.

As Selkirk stated above, satisfaction of contributing to a club we support.

Note I said club, not a player, a manager or a board.

Benefits:- without approval;

Can't change club colours

Can’t change club name

Can’t change stadium we play in

The main benefit is that no-one can sell the club to some rich person without the consent of 90% of the members.  Of course, depending on the rich person, that might not be so beneficial, depending on your view.

None, incredible how much extra money is put into the club and playing side of things is so poor. Just wonder if other clubs had and extra £1.5m per year how would they fair.

Zero communication to the people who actually own the club

Zero say in anything that happens

Zero control of club changing decisions

Zero

Before anyone says yes I've stopped my contributions

191 posts in 12 years! I very much doubt you ever contributed to anything at Tynecastle, especially in the home end.

Very good point. We still have the scar tissue from the Vlad era and understandably so. A sensible type Vlad or a consortium could transform the club.

Exactly. I will continue to put money into the club regardless of club fortunes.

Where would you need to be in life to actually sit in front of your computer, go on a rival clubs forum, pretend to support that club and write absolute pish for 4 years? It’s amusing and sad at the same time.

Not a benefit imo. Every single member of staff know that defeat is accepted.

Put in more than we get out? What's the average pledge? £20-£30 a month? We're hardly Saudi Prince levels. A small amount knowing your contributing to the bigger picture, how they use it debatable. Hiding behind the line "we don't know where it goes as it goes into main revenue/ accounts" is a bit tiresome. Not to difficult a task to separate the FOH revenue if they really wanted to, but that then brings its own can of worms.

The entire ladies team vanity project costs the club approx £1 million per year. That should be an alarm bell in itself.

I know to even discuss this will send some progressives into cardiac arrest but it simply must be highlighted.

We are not Manchester City, we simply can't afford this luxury. It is a one way cashflow (in), it is ridiculously over staffed and over prioritised.

I am all for it if it was self funded and a peripheral undertaking. As it stands it is entitely funded by the club and it is prioritised and promoted as a main event. I know that some games etc are sponsored, I believe Baillie Gifford done one recently but this does not pay for team upkeep, it just pays for the supporters to have a day out.

I know the above will be uncomfortable reading for the hard of thinking and those that desperately want to engineer society and change the natural and historical norms but this is dragging us down.

I know he injects cash into it but to suggest it is 100% funded by him would be ridiculous.

I know a few pence of the pound in FoH pledges go to it.

Also, the dangers of this are catastrophic. When the James Anderson cash injections dry up who is left to foor the bill? Most of the staff are on full time contracts.

I've made my feelings very clear on the board, the management team and the players etc but the woman's team not something I'm critical of tbh

That's exactly it. I pay into the survival of Heart of Midlothian FC. Yes I'm dissatisfied with the product on the park but that won't affect my pledge. And it shouldn't affect anyone else's (apart from their personal circumstances that could influence how much they can afford contribute).

You can decide if we have a cash option for a pie, or maybe not, 😕.
