Worst Ending to a Film

Seeing as there is a Great Beginnings to a Film, thought I’d do the opposite.

The worst ending I’ve ever seen to a film by a long long long way is…

Enemy, starring Jake Gyllenhaal

I can’t believe anyone on here can possibly beat this. If you have seen it, then what the actual #### is that 🕷️ all about 🤯

Blazing Saddles.

No way. Perfect absurd ending for a film filled with absurdities. You’re talking about a film where the main character rides around a corner in the desert to come across Count Basie and his orchestra playing the music for the scene.

Malinga the Swinga

Shutter Island - what's it all about

Lots of the Rings, Return of the King - should have finished 10 minutes before it did

Knowing - I know I saw it but I wish I hadn't bothered

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - just no

Here is the ending of the film Enemy. I’ve put it in a spoiler, just in case someone wants to watch it, you will regret it.

Spoiler

A man sees his doppelgänger on television and sets off throughout the film to find him. He finally finds out where he lives and manages to get into his apartment. He wanders around the rooms and then gets to the bedroom. He opens the door of the room and there is about a 20ft real spider crawling along the wall and ceiling…and it ends🤯🤯🤯

I P Knightley

The Italian Job.

Don't leave me to make up the end of the story myself, especially when there's a scentific solution to the quandary they find themselves in.

But of a niche one here but I watched a film called Cop Shop with Gerard Butler and it was watchable for the majority but then the last 15 minutes or so was utter horse shite

I’m even more confused now than I was before I read this. Way beyond my intellectual level I think. I’ll just stick to my thought process of, it’s a shit film with a shit ending. Jake Gyllenhaal is one of my favourite actors too. Can’t all be good I suppose.

Far too many horror movies have unsatisfying conclusions. No doubt some are deliberately left up in the air for a sequel but I think many are because the writers just don't have the ability to close them out.

I liked "The Blair Witch Project" but the ending was disappointing.

Let us see the bitch.

Once Upon A Time In America.

Only because it was the end of a magical experience.

The ending was as it could only have been.

For some unknown reason, I started watching the film EO on a flight.🙄

Had to keep watching on the hope that it would get better, nope , but surely the ending would be good, nope!😟
