As has probably been mentioned. Those caught should see there parents sanctioned if on benefits. Might give them the kick up the arse to actually parent their children.

Not a chance. 90% of them have no idea who their father is. Probably wonder why they have so many uncles though.

Why did the police just stand there then even worse retreat. Should've formed 5-man arrest teams and gone after the ringleaders.

That probably wound them up even more. Just stand there taking all they've got.

Evening News

 It's getting almost as bad as "Edinburgh Live"

95% of articles cribbed from social media (facebook, twitter, tiktok, tripadvisor reviews etc) with images taken from stock sites.

Journalism is fecked.

And so they should be. My next door neigbour's big brother was on duty in Niddrie on Sunday night and had to be extinguished at one point.

This, in my opinion, is 100% worthy of a good ****ing kicking behind the cell doors. Awful stuff.

Ask any chemical engineer and they'll tell you that there is no need for fireworks to be so loud.

Edited for brevity @Cade. You can ask me, i am a chemical engineer. I also dabble in making my own pyrotechnics in my spare time. I stress that when I set them off I do it on a friend's land where there is nobody within about a mile.

But your point about making them less loud is moot. The reason that people enjoy fireworks (responsibly) is that the light and sound show is impressive.

Take away that and you take away the 'excitement' for want of a better word. You either have fireworks, or you don't.

Agreed, but I think they used foam and water.

@Jeffros Furios, I think we've found our man.

@Dawnrazor, I'm withdrawing that employment opportunity.

He makes fireworks but I make actual ammunition, he'll be handy if you want someone sparkling I suppose!

I do also have the raw ingredients to make explosives - remarkably easy to get legally over here - which are also fun. Homemade gunpowder and touch powder are amusing ;)

You're right, I can buy all the components to make rifle cartridges, the bullets, cases, powders and primers all over the counter or through the post without any checks, I only need a firearms certificate when I put them all together 🤷

Out of curiosity, where are you DR?

Yeah, it's mental. You buy a semi-auto rifle and the kit to make it fully-auto legally, yet it is illegal to combine the two. Da fuq???

Also, you can do really interesting things with homemade thermite:)

I'm in the North West of England.

You can only buy a semi auto rim fire in the UK now, semi auto centerfires were banned in the eighties, you can get a semi auto shotgun of up to ten or twelve mag capacity on a firearms certificate.

It's the fact that anyone can buy all the reloading components here and make as many rounds as you like that needs looking into.

No problem with a semi now and then, but the rim fires can GTF.

I had to merchandise 2 shops in Niddrie a few days ago, which involved getting paid before I left.

I'm all over the country doing this, and i come up against some of the most chancing *******s alive.

In Niddrie, i had no problem at all, and the youngsters coming into the shop were polite.

I was surprised.

Niddrie isn't a bad area, bud. It has its problems, but like everywhere, most folk are spot on.

Only way to get through and learn them a lesson, has to be repercussions. That’s what’s wrong with the youth today, scared of nothing. A good beating learns you a valuable lesson…don’t be an arse!!!
