Watch repair - Edinburgh

Morning all. Any recommendations for this? I’ve got a watch I bought in 1995 which has sentimental value but the crown / pin has come out and I’d like to get it fixed, needs a new glass too.

Thanks in advance.

Quite a tricky service to find in Edinburgh in terms of independent shops. If it isn't an obscure or premium brand Timpson's do a service where they send them off to get repaired. I've not used it but they are generally a reliable company.

Marshalls on Dalry Road. They have fixed many "unfixable" jewelry/watch problems for me over the years.

That’s exactly where I went. Nice folk and a decent price.

It’s a pretty quirky watch (Beauchat I bought in France 30 years ago) so I wanted to try an old fashioned shop rather than a chain.

thanks for all the replies.

I didn't know they did watch repair, but can attest to excellent service from them in other areas.

Gorgie Jeweller on Gorgie Road will do watch repairs.  The watchsmith there is (was) a nice chap.

Been there a few times, great shop.

Typing in the vernacular looks dreadful.

Was my place of choice for battery replacement, i now have a wee kit that i can change the battery myself for my large amount of watches, about 10 , hope that helps, 😃.

Just to say, got the watch back today.

Great job and a good price. Marshall’s at Haymarket is the watch repair shop for me from now on.

Just a pity the facade is green😀
