Really looking forward to the next hour or so on here.  Crowd number and photos required if it's not too much trouble.

Thanks in advance.

Well done to the ladies. Well deserved champions. 1050 here. Lot of clubs would love that attendance.

What were the gate receipts?

Doesn't matter a jot, it was a very good crowd.

Matters a lot, if ST holders are let in for free and a nominal fee for everyone else.

Fantastic, great that they got to play at Tynecastle too, that'll live in the players memories forever.

Hopefully we can push on, well done Hearts.

Can we not just enjoy the occasion for an hour or two before bringing all the negativity back into the thread?

Has it ruined your Sunday?

No. I'd expect not.

Not really, it just annoys me slightly when people make comparisons to a crowd of fully paying attendees as opposed to what is effectively a freebie.

1050 is indeed a good turnout, but did it even generate enough revenue to pay the electricity bill for the floodlights?

You'd really hope so, wouldn't you.

Do you ask that after men's games at Tynie too?

Busy day ahead for me but I will stroll through it on the back of this great day at Tynecastle.

Will be able to see the first half of the Kosovo game where I understand the Pope is making an appearance for England.

I'm getting up off my arse now to make some toast and a cup of tea. What time is it in Kiwi-land?

David's trying too hard I think. It's a shame.

Indeed. I just can't imagine what causes someone to be that much of a "Debbie Downer".

Lord Beni of Gorgie

Worth every penny eh. So much so they got the cash matched in the new Umbro deal.

I'll be honest it doesn't put me up nor down,  nor do I ever wish to be patronising,  the world is moving on apace,  not having a ladies team would be fundamentally wrong.

Its absolutely right there should be a team,  people can choose whether to support it or not

Good stuff.

Hopefully more investment in the ladies team next season to push for the league

:)

The Umbro sponsorship announcement spoke of more sponsors for the women's section being rolled out next year.

It's all looking extremely positive.

All credit to Hibs for seeing the future of women's football well before us and doing particularly well.  When they look over their shoulder now though they'll see us and that's great for the city and great for the game.
