Probably doesn't help that just down the road there's homeless shelters, Salvation Army etc. all concentrated in a small area. 'Dead bodies lying in the streets' is a total sensationalist headline too. I recall that did happen a few years ago, but was a pretty unique scenario that was just rather tragically unfortunate.
