Time for a drug test. Either Scotland are on something performance enhancing, or I'm on a hallucinogenic.... 🤪

Norway only have 12 points to play for and are 8 behind. They’d need some set of results to finish above us now. And we still have to play Cyprus twice. Jobs done 👍

Thought we totally controlled that game. Very soft penalty and one shot that missed the target. Other than that, they were never in it.

Some calm passing from the back, played through midfield and turning it up a notch in promising areas. Very impressive.

Hickey, Hendry, Robertson, McTominay all excellent, but Gilmour MOM. Constantly showing for the ball and more importantly, taking it forward at every opportunity.

Well it’s quite pleasurable watching Scotland atm. Play good stuff, have good players all over the park and for once in my ****ing life seem to be getting some breaks

What a start to the group this is🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I'm pretty sure we can seal qualification if we beat Cyprus.

(Not quite actually)

Do we not only have Cyprus once as we have played them already?

because they can't.

they are genetically conditioned to make every sport shit and as easy to score (whilst greatly exaggerating the value of the score) in as possible.

and then proclaim themselves world champions.

We have Norway at home.

Cyprus, Georgia, and Spain away.

I can see Georgie taking points off Spain or Norway (or both).

they weren’t at the races tonight, partly because Scotland played well but they have a good side.

beat Cyprus away and we are rocking

we can beat Norway at home

Disappointed he put on Nisbet ahead of Shanky. Maybe a bit biased but considering his goal record this season and his excellent hold up play it was a surprising substitution.

Gilmour was as good as anyone I've seen play for Scotland tonight. Super wee player.

Obviously I'm biased too but agree. Shanks was the better choice given we were holding it up at that point.

As for the match I think it's possible we see hardly any changes depending on how guys have recovered. A lot of the guys who started on Saturday are amongst Clarkes most trusted and deserve to be so. That said it wouldn't surprise me to see Armstrong and Gilmour involved for Christie and ANother. Tierney might be a doubt though he looked ok after the game so it may have been precautionary or that he just hasn't played a lot of 90 minutes.

A fast start would be great in this one, try to make this as straightforward as possible. I think we are riding a wave so I'll go 2 or 3-0 Scotland.

Even got the wave part right 🤣🤣

That thing you do

Done the maths

Scotland need 2 points to go to Germany as long as Norway fail to get maximum points from here (16 if they do, next best is 14

in which case 2 wins takes us through.I think Scotland will get a draw at Hampden with Norway so that gives a max of 14 to norway, who cant catch us if we beat cyprus.

if they beat us but lose to spain they can get 13 pts which means 2 draws is enough.

A draw with norway and win v cyprus is 16 pts.

Not sure mate sounds great here.

Worked great here.  One glitch as everything started to buffer in the stream near the end of the first half but everything was good otherwise.  Many thanks again.  🍺

Over in Atlanta by bud got a postcard size pic on his 36" Apple display and no sound but he was happy anyway.

Absolutely.  Could never figure out why the coaches at Chelsea and Brighton wouldn't give him a game.  He was a bit unfortunate in that every time he moved, the coach who wanted him, moved on too.

Full marks to Steve Clark for sticking by him and making him a much better player.

He’s got that real composure and awareness that is rare to come by and for a little guy he gets stuck in and he’s a very good clean tackler.

When he plays as well as that it’s a bit criminal  to see him wasting away on the bench.
He’s easily good enough to play regularly for someone in the EPL.

Goodness. I see the games in hand and all that but when was the last time Scotland were 9 points clear of Spain in a group competition, whatever the circumstances?

After Rodri and Odegaard's tears, which of the Georgian players is gonna take this result really really badly?

My money is on...all of them. :P

Nah....Rodri and Odegaard are accustomed to strolling through EPL games with a multi-billion £ supporting cast.  Found out somewhat when the cast isn't there.

Gilmour is fantastic. I also think with Brighton moving on players in his role he will shine this year in the Premier League.

Same with Hickey. Thought he looks great and yet looks like he can go so much further.

Makes you wonder what a couple of seasons in Serie A might have done for Billy Gilmour.  👀
