Yup.

I'm just listing songs from the Human Traffic Soundtrack.

Great film.

Great music.

If you've not seen it....that's your homework for this weekend.

As it says, absolute bangers from the 90s. Which were just 15 years ago, right? :P

I'll start with this, loved this band back in the day. Not only a fantastic electro-dance track, it namechecked Cannon & Ball which always amused me.

🎸 🎹 Fire away with your best (one per post, yeah?). 🎵

Happiness and the remix album Blissed Out are probably my most played albums...still. Absolutely love them. 👍

Watt-Zeefuik

This came on this morning while I was making pancakes for the kids and they basically couldn't help but jump up and bop around to it. Best hook of the 90's. Funny that Chumbawamba basically hated the success it brought them and actively avoided having a hit after this, to the point that they basically actively sabotaged their pub tour for it to get out of having to do more of it.

It still absolutely bops though.

On more of an American bent, this song was just absolutely huge for a minute in 91 then absolutely disappeared.

That Paris Angels song is an absolute classic. Love it

Brilliant song. Wasn't a massive hit at the time, but definitely a cult classic.

When I take pupils from my class to the Sensory Room we have at school...this is quite often the first song I bluetooth to the rooms speakers.

Another brilliant use of that sample

Now you're talking. 😍

I seem to recall some connection between them and the CCS. Stage invasion by CCS, or something?

Love that track. Saw them live at the Bunker in East Calder back in 1993.

Ah cool, that would have been er, class.

I absolutely love the remix they did of New Order's Ruined In A Day; so good it was the version the band played live

Yes! Heard that on Lauren Laverne's show last week actually.

Reminded me that they played the first T In The Park and the tent went mental for this.

Being a Pet Shop Boys obsessive, I bought this album as he signed to their record label and they produced this song.

He's a Hearts fan and there's a Hearts flag in the video as well so perfect Shed material...

Sonya Maden had an amazing voice and was a great song writer. Definitely an under appreciated band

Needs the video though:

For some reason I didn't realise for years that Iggy Pop is the vocalist on this track.

He did something similar with New Order (after the 90s though on their last studio album):
