Looking for advise.

BT package tv has been cancelled due to poor tv signal, and buffering / freezing of picture. The streamed channels like Netflix or Now tv were always decent. BT Broadband seems good so keeping it.

what do people suggest. Virgin is not an option as not in our area.

Thanks in advance

If your BT broadband is good I'm not sure why Netflix etc wouldn't be.

Not what you asked right enough.

I'm with BT and did have a signal problem.

I've since reset the box and tuned it in to the Internet.

Lost a few channels but gained a few in HD.

The quality is absolutely brilliant.

How do you do that? I’m not massively technically minded but can follow instructions!

When you go back to the factory reset its gives you option to ariel or Internet set up.

I took the ariel out of the box just to make sure.

Apologies but you have become my tech support!
It offers Wi-Fi WPS, Wi-Fi - Scan and wired. Which of the 1st two is it?

I’m no expert.

More a try this.

l never had these options.

I have the Pro box which only had the 2 options I mentioned.

Just try each of them.

My philosophy is you can’t break it.

Get a phone and wifi package and get a fire stick and get someone to sign you up to an IPTV type scheme. £70 a year

Thanks. I’ll give BT one more shot then have a look at other options if it doesn’t work long term

I have done what you suggested and it’s working perfectly. Fantastic picture quality. I’ve had so many issues I am sceptical it will continue, however if picture quality remains this good then I will be delighted. Thanks for your help

I only changed a few months ago and haven’t had any issues.

Only can record 2 channels but I find it’s no big deal.

Glad I could help.

You should, I changed from sky probably 7 years ago.

4k channels on offer now as well.

70 quid a year, all sky channels. Us TV in total 10k channels or something.

All the ppv, more 3pm football than you could want to watch. 😂
