That's actually one of my favourites. Absolutely brilliant.

Brothers in Arms is a great album but not one of my favourites. Love Over Gold and their self titled debut are just amazing.

Why's nobody mentioned this classic.

That's one of my favourites as well. The live version on Alchemy is just outstanding. I'm pretty sure it was released as a single though, so thats why i didn't mention it. I could be wrong though! 😂 😂

I don't know if it fits the criteria but feck it.

That version doesn't have the overly long intro to it! Much better imo. Great tune

Deserve far more credit for this also from Brothers in Arms.

There we’re so many strong songs on the album this is mostly overlooked.

A real shame as it’s a beauty.

😂😂 It's definitely worth a relisten now. It doesn't seemed to have aged at all. Brilliant album

It's a classic a album, it was my guilty pleasure at the time, me and my mates were into Punk, Goth, Metal and all the crossover bands at the time, Fields of the Nephilim, New Model Army, The Sisters of Mercy, The Cult, Alien Sex Fiend and the like but on the way home from a gig Kick was often played and enjoyed.

Bit of an 80s theme (Halo was 1990 if you're nitpicking)

Doesn't count.

Violator is a god tier album where every song is a masterpiece.

I actually miss tapes sometimes. You really had to listen to the whole album because is was awkward to fast forward

Only seen them once, a few years ago at Glasgow on their 3D tour. Pretty civilised for a concert though🤣

Fair enough, it is god tier.

This is the opposite,  the most pilloried album in the Manics career but the opening track is top 3 for me in their entire back catalogue.

I think the best song by The Jam that was not a hit is Ghosts on The Gift album.

Great song. And so is Just who is the 5 o'clock hero.

Cracking song

They had so many album tracks that would have been hits.

Outstanding track ... Technically the following is an album track from King Of Limbs Live From The Basement, but I don't think part of a studio album just a B-side.

Great and epic fun track with a Spaghetti western spoof story some terrific guitar - what's not to like !

Another great epic track - this time about the Kennedy assassination. Saw this live in Edinburgh at Clouds i think in about 1979. Stunning performance by Devoto

An album just packed full of amazing songs. If you're young enough to have never listened, then give it a shot.
