CostaJambo Posted September 10, 2022 Share Posted September 10, 2022 I was at a university open day in the south of England today with my lad who is interested in doing a maths or maths/statistics degree. The lecturer giving the subject talk was discussing doing a placement year out working for a company as part of the degree and stated that current students are doing placements with salaries ranging between zero and X pounds. He said both figures were somewhat scary to him, with the high one being at some bank in London, and the kid getting paid zero being at Hibernian Football Club! The missus and I were pissing ourselves and I was hoping the guy would ask what we found so funny but alas he moved on to how the next slide.
