Is Ferguson on the bench or will he be with the first team?

Should be with the first team.

Half time 2-0. Could have been 3 just before the break.

Hearts have had plenty of the ball, but...

Defence looks nervous as hell, with a bomb scare moment looking like happening at any time.

Up front shooting has been poor with the Vale keeper barely troubled.

Too many overhit or Hollywood passes from midfield.

Luke Rathie playing in front of his hometown, how is he doing @Footballfirst?  His old man is involved with the Vale.

Luke Rathie was subbed at half time along with Nair, Gordon and Thomas. None of them had started particularly well.

I mentioned earlier that the defence was looking very nervous. I think that Naismith also thought along the same lines in making the subs that he did.

Much improved in the second half, but squandered several gilt edged chances.

Good to see Bailey get a goal. Has had back luck with injury the last year.

It was Macauley Tait. He's been on the bench for the first team several times but has still to make his debut.
