I’ll drive it’s easier, so 2 seats available in the back of my motor ( leaving from Corstorphine (McDonald’s) 17:45, ( an hour of pre drinks in a friendly boozer )

Methil and friendly. Not a phrase that is used very often!

I'd say that Markinch (and Thornton) are closer if you're relying on paying for a taxi or bus to get you to the ground. However, with the reduced timetable, there will likely be more traffic going through Kirkcaldy.

There is no trains back after about 8.30 so wouldn’t recommend the train!

Last train from Kirkcaldy tonight is 21:52.

You'll be lucky to get a bus, There's a shortage of drivers so runs are getting cancelled all over the place.

Ah ok.

That would mean you’d have to get a taxi to Kirkcaldy, none of the buses from Leven would allow you catch that train.

Scotrail must have cancelled that 11:00pm train back from Kirkcaldy then. Useless.

Doesn't affect me but still. Useless.

When we played EF a couple of years ago I remember signing a petition by the locals to get their train line back up and running.

I heard they succeeded but don't know when it opened 🤔

They are hoping to open it in 2024 but wouldn't count on it.

For public transport one only has to peruse the Trainline and Stagecoach 'journey planner' sites. Anyhoo, in this weather a night on the beach is a possibility?

Was that 👆 the pre-season friendly where Sow made his debut? He took a free kick that almost hit the corner flag and I remember laughing at that thinking, "Oh no".

Fast forward to the 1st game that season vs The Rangers at Ibrox. 😁

This is one of the very bestest opening games of the season EVER.

When Law scored the equaliser? 😁

I'll not bore you all with my recollection of that match (suffice to say that it was unforgettable), but just watch this (again) ... and to think that we scored £1.5M transferring him to China. 😁

Seems to be coming along well from what I see. I've been involved in the Structures side of things on the new line
