No shame here😁.   If you pick up a packet and the biscuits are still at their softest consistency, a packet is easily gubbed within minutes.  😎

A bizarre culture of biscuit eating has cropped up in my work recently with everyone bringing in at least a pack a day.
It’s probably not the healthiest but I’m not complaining.

Always have a packet in the house. Dangerous habit as I'm always in about them.

Boasters were elite level cookies. My mates mum always bought them. We used to take two packets to his pool room and tan them while playing 8 ball.

Call me boring but i love Rich Tea the most. Jaffa Cakes are good too, but they are cakes not biscuits.

They got moved on by the police.

Oh, and caramel chocolate digestives are clearly the best.

The humble McVitie's Digestive, it's lovley whether it's with a sweet or savery topping and either dry or wet, the perfect biscuit.

Cakes.

And that was proven in court.

Because cakes pay less in tax than biscuits (0 VAT), HMRC wanted them re-classified as biscuits as they are eaten like biscuits and are sold in the biscuit aisle.

McVities won the case.

Jaffa Cakes are cakes.

I usually don't bother with biscuits, until I see a pack of decent chocolate chip cookies.

Ahh... When I was nightshift in Wester Hailes in the late 90's, early 2000's, we used to go up to the gatehouse at Burtons factory on the Calder Road. They sold off the broken and misshapen biscuits in bulk. Mostly it was toffee pops or mint viscounts. 50p got you a brown paper bag like  a pillow case stuffed full of calories. The toffee pops were the worst - pick one out and another five came with it all stuck together. You ended up eating them like crisps..... brutal.....

Apparently the deciding factor is that when cakes go stale, they become hard whereas when biscuits go stale they go soft. Jaffa cakes go hard when stale, therefore  - cakes!

I do like a jammie wagon wheel still.
