Jarhead Posted July 12, 2008 Share Posted July 12, 2008 Pele makes a good point about the badge kissers. When I was a kid we had players within our team that I could consider to be heroes. Now it just feels like an assortment of mercenaries. I try not to get too attached to players now as if they are any good they will be offski at the drop of a hat. If a player reaches the end of his contract and wants to leave that's fair enough. That's the way of the modern game.
