Morgan Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 Aggregate score 0-2. I’m going for a draw tonight, probably 1-1, if I were to put a bet on it. Quote
Ron Burgundy Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 2-0 Villareal to win on pens. Wishful thinking I know. Quote
smiler Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 I would be delighted if Liverpool got papoed out, can’t see it though. This one will be a Desmond. Quote
AlimOzturk Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 Liverpool are just at a different level from everyone else atm excluding Man City. Will be an easy night for them imo Quote

R1874 Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 Remind me, did i read something about Villarreal winning the CL affecting us? or is it celtic/rangers? Quote

jamboinglasgow Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 5 minutes ago, R1874 said: Remind me, did i read something about Villarreal winning the CL affecting us? or is it celtic/rangers? There was a possibility that if Villareal won the Champions league, the winner of the Premiership would no longer go automatically into the group stage of the Champions League. However with Russian clubs confirmed to be still banned from Europe next season by Uefa yesterday it meant this is no longer the case. So the winner of the Premiership will automatically go into the champions league group stage. Quote

Tom Hardy’s Dug Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 No matter the score Villarreal shows what TV and Euro money can do for you. Stadium holds only 23,000 yet continual, relative, success Quote

Taffin Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 (edited) Has the stadium got 'fake' filled in corners, or am I seeing things? Good to see Liverpool rattled. Can't turn up thinking you'll stroll games at this level Edit: corner. I see now it's two tvs and then fan looking print Edited May 3, 2022 by Taffin Quote

AlimOzturk Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 What an atmosphere. I want us to get a bit of that. Quote
Rudy T Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 If they lose at least I’ll not need to hear them constantly battering on about this quadruple. Honestly the mess of that Carragher every time someone mentions Liverpool and Klopp. Quote

Mikey1874 Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 Leaving aside Liverpool and the club which has been pretty gracious under Klopp and its current ownership, it's a big snub to the Super League clubs who would prefer not to be playing likes of Villarreal. Quote

tian447 Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 As a neutral, 2-0 at half time for Villareal is the ideal result. Both of them need to go for it, and both of them can't afford to lose it. Nervy stuff. Liverpool should be able to step up a gear and score at least a goal. Quote
