https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61091880 obviously doesn’t rate us as a team that can stop Celtic winning the treble this year !! Deary me !!!

Well - as the BBC post match interviewer talking to Steven Kingsley said "will you be watching the final tomorrow?"

Its a ****ing disgrace but with Souttar 'injured' and Halkett injured and Beni injured and Smith still out it will be really hard to get a result.

For their arrogance, I hope we do, but will be tough. Good thing is, we've got European football sorted which is some consolation.

Today was our final. Dont fancy us at all to beat Celtic or Rangers. Especially without Beni and Souttar, let alone Halkett.

Cup finals are Cup finals. Doesn't matter who is in them.

Anything can happen because the players rise to the occasion.

Gretna in 2006 for example.

I know we got pumped by them last time but I think I would rather face Rangers.Sometimes Rangers do have an off day in the shooting department.

Heard that. Kingsley flat-batted it well if he picked it up. if he didn't, he was prob buzzing, and who can blame him?

We won the Cup in 1998 in our third final v Rangers in the space of 2 years, after making it through a semi where we were largely dominated by Falkirk and still won.

If Celtic make the final, it will be our third final against them in just over 2 years (as the 2020 final was delayed) after a semi where we were largely dominated by Hibs and still won.

Just saying.

This. Football is absolutely littered with surprises and shocks.

We’re there. It’s an opportunity every other team in Scotland would want.

Did the Americans think this when the Germans invaded Pearl Harbour?

Did Henry VIII surrender to William the Conqueror?

Did we drive the Brazilians from the Falklands?

Puff our chests out. Compete. We’ve beaten them BOTH before. Believe!!!

When we lost 2-1 to Celtic in 2019 I was more gutted than at any time since Dens. I don’t think I’ll be so bothered if we lose this year’s final, although there are no guarantees. So much has been achieved this season, and for the first time in goodness knows how long there is a sustained feel good factor around the club. The derby is back on track and European football has been achieved. Happy days.

No. Largely because we were fighting the Argentinians...

We're going into the final with zero pressure. We've achieved what we set out to do. Finished 3rd, slapped hibs about and secured group stage European football.

Of course I want to win, but our defence is a mess with Halkett now out too. Plus losing Beni is a big loss too. We've beaten Celtic before in the Cochrane game with a makeshift team that on paper had no right to win. So you never know with these things. Hopefully we get a bit of luck in the injury department with Halkett. Not holding out hope though.

Celtic 0, Partick Thistle 4.  And that was only half time. League Cup that was. Even Hibs have won it.

The favourites don't always win.

We can go into that final with no nerves whatsoever I think it will suit us. I’d rather have Rangers but bring them on whoever it is. Give them a game. Make them beat us. Make them stop us.

If Halkett is out we could come into final on back of some pretty miserable results over next few weeks.

If anything, ill opt for Rangers.

We need to play for the final team now. Forget the results in league.

That pretty much sums him up. Part of the Sevco side that failed against Hearts in the Championship.  Ex-Hibs too, and all round fake-tan ned.  I expect he hates us.

We were a baw hair away from beating treble quadruple whatever winners Celtic twice. With a Craig Levein team and a championship squad. Anything is possible.
