According to the showbiz reporters, nope he can't even be considered for an Oscar now, even if he put in the acting performance of the century it doesn't matter, the reporters also mentioned that this could also badly affect his career, because directors, producers, studios and film companies might well be reluctant to cast Will Smith knowning that not only him but by association the whole film would probably not be up for any awards, that being the case then Will Smith might well find his diary becoming quite quiet over the next 10 years. Always feel a bit short changed with the ones you get on Sports Personality of the Year, where someone is 'surprised' on a sun lounger by the pool with their 3rd place award.
